A graduate of Florida A&M University College of Law, Kimra is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Before pursuing a career in the law, Kimra held various positions in the music industry and in the media as videographer and red carpet photographer for HBO, CNN, Fox, Disney, BET, BMI, and numerous other outlets. She taught the Entertainment Business & Law course at the prestigious Full Sail University and holds degrees in Journalism, Communications and Broadcasting.
After many years of serving her clients’ production and photography needs, Kimra pursued a law degree to provide insightful legal services to the creative and business communities.

Working With Kimra

Kimra handles a wide variety of intellectual property and entertainment law issues, including conflict resolution, contract drafting, copyright compliance for businesses, trademark registration and licensing, artist, producer and songwriter agreements, trade secret agreements, independent contractor agreements, cease and desist notices, business practices for intellectual property owners, and intellectual property acquisition. She currently represents active and retired professional athletes, Grammy-nominated producers, entertainment executives, at least one double platinum artist, and a host of small business owners.
